Mrs krishna Bharathi is a senior disciple of Renowned world famous exponent Padmashri Dr Shobha Naidu.. She mastered the various nuances of Kuchipudi under her tutelage and obtained her Masters degree in dance. Guru Bharati now runs Pallavi Academy of Fine arts in Hyderabad, AP and teaches Kuchipudi to aspiring students
Guru Bharati is a recipient of numerous awards and titles,including Sanskriti Ratna, Natyasri, Ugadhi puraskar,NTR puraskar and Natya Visaradha.
Mrs. Bharathi has choreographed many dance ballets and solo items. Kaaliya Mardhanam,Aagrahaanugraham and Sankranti are a few of the ballets that gained critical acclaim.
She was invited as a faculty to conduct a dance workshop in Washington D.C, USA in 1999. She has trained many students from their beginnings through “Rangapravesam” and Post graduate degrees. Many of her students continue in her foot steps and tradition of teaching Kuchipudi globally. |
